Sunday School
Worried about having time to get breakfast and get around to make it to Sunday School? We know Sunday mornings can be a bit hectic, and we’ve got some help for you. A complimentary breakfast is available every Sunday (except Easter) in the foyer by the gym starting at 9:00am.
So come join us in fellowship. There are Sunday School classes available for all ages as well as a nursery. The adult classes are listed below.
The King’s Fishers
Class Location: Upstairs in the gym, first door at top of stairs.
Teacher: Dennis Baker. Dennis is a member of the worship praise team and works at Sander’s Funeral Service. Dennis retired from the City of Kingfisher where he served as Chief of Police.
Adults from their 20’s and up (all are welcome) study a variety of topics. The class is currently in a series on the Book of Hebrews. The class enjoys regular get-togethers including restaurant reviews, putt-putt, bowling and an annual Christmas party.
Shepherd’s Flock
Class Location: Second Sunday School room downstairs in the gym
Teacher: Wes Harper. Wes has taught many Bible Study series and is an experienced leader. He works at Pioneer Telephone Cooperative and is our Facebook Live technician.
Adults from their 40’s and up (all are welcome) study scripture in a verse-by-verse format. Class participation is encouraged. The class is currently studying the Old Testament Minor Prophet books. The class enjoys quarterly get-togethers.
Fellowship Class
Class Location: First Sunday School room downstairs in the gym
Teacher: Bridget Keast. Bridget, a retired Physician’s Assistant and our Church Board Secretary leads this class.
Seniors who gather to seek the Truth through Scripture study, using the Nazarene Bible Study curriculum and supporting one another in love and fellowship. Bible study involves questions and answers, time for reflection, and challenges to apply what we are discovering.
