Anyone needing food assistance is allowed to come in every 60 days for a box of food.
Our Food Boxes
Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene has partnered with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma since August 2005 to provide assistance to residents of Kingfisher Dover, Loyal, and Okarche.
The food pantry is open during regular church office hours which is Mon-Fri, 9am - 12:30pm. Anyone planning to come for food might call first just to verify someone is here to help.
Anyone can get a box if they need it regardless of income. We allow those with letters from DHS to come monthly. We can make exceptions during crisis situations.
On a typical month, we distribute anywhere from 45-50 boxes of food serving anywhere from 80-100 people.

- 8 cans of vegetables
- 3 cans of fruit
- 1 bag of white rice (or box of instant rice)
- 1 bag of pinto beans
- 1 package of pasta plus cans of pasta sauce
Depending on income levels, we can also supplement the food boxes with items from USDA.

Contributing to the Food Pantry
We order our food monthly from the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Anyone interested in supporting our food pantry can make monetary donations. We are able to leverage any monies donated to get more food from the Regional Food Bank than we could by going to local grocery stores to purchase food. If someone would like to donate food items, we accept non-perishable items. Specifically, we can use: canned fruit, canned vegetables, spaghetti sauce, canned meats, boxed cereals, pasta, peanut butter, etc. Before you donate any items, please verify that they have not reached their expiration or "best by" date.
